I'd think that if the ink machine was to break, than they could use standard Ink, but remember that there is next to no traffic noise in the area around Joey Drew Studios, so the likelyhood of any fresh ink (which I would assume is also much better for Bendy) being in the area around the studio is pretty low then, right? There is nothing saying that it has to be the machine's ink, but if the machine is making the ink, than there is likely a special property to it that makes it ideal for Bendy and his machinations (I think I used that word right).
